South Wales Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision which took place on the A48 at Laleston Roundabout, Laleston, Bridgend,on Wednesday (April 17) shortly after 11.35am. The collision involved a grey Kia motor vehicle and a Yamaha MT-07 motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle was taken to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, for treatment. His injuries are described as life-changing. Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dash cam footage of either vehicle prior to the collision. Oneplanet Adventure, a forest visitor centre in North Wales, has used a six-figure finance package from HSBC UK to purchase the site it has leased for the last 13 years.
