Amazon has announced a new Site Leader at the Swansea site. Chris Law, from Port Talbot, will oversee operations at the local fulfilment centre, which opened its doors in 2008. Chris has worked for Amazon in South Wales and across the South of England for eight years and previously worked at Tata Steel, where he started as an apprentice.Speaking on his appointment, Chris said: “It’s a huge honour for me to lead the team at Amazon in Swansea. Farmers have hit back at claims over the role of farming in the decline of curlews and other species, saying environmental charities and advisors must take their fair share of the blame for policies which have led to habitat degradation and increased predation. Police in Swansea have launched a murder investigation after the death of a woman in the Swansea area during the early hours of yesterday morning (23 April) . Officers were called at approximately 3.10am to Carlton Terrace in Swansea following reports of an incident.
