Life-size wild animals made from LEGO will be on display this October half term. Techniquest has submitted a planning application for its £5.7m Science Capital project, which will see the radical transformation and expansion of its science discovery centre in Cardiff Bay. Housing, support and care provider Hafod and the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS), on Wednesday 24 October 2018, have agreed a Fire Safety Local Service Agreement (LSA), the first of its type for each organisation.  The LSA will allow each organisation to target fire risk more effectively and efficiently. A cancer diagnosis is always devastating news – but Daniel McCabe knows it could have been so much worse. [aoa id=”1″] After enduring weeks of agonising back pain which spread to his legs, the Swansea dad was referred to the Rapid Diagnosis Centre being piloted in Neath Port Talbot Hospital. In the space of one morning he underwent a series of tests and had a diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma – a cancer of the lymphatic system. An exhibition that explores contemporary craft products by makers from across Wales will also celebrate some of the skills and traditions that made Newtown such an important place in the 1800s.
