A new review published by Public Health Wales finds that Wales’ new tax-raising powers could be used to improve population health and reduce deaths from non-communicable disease. Officers in Swansea investigating a serious assault that took place in High Street on Thursday 18th July have charged a man. Colin Thomas Payne, aged 61, from Swansea has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm. He has been remanded in custody and will appear in Swansea Crown Court on Monday 19th August. A 21-year-old man and 50-year-old woman who were both arrested in connection with this incident have been released under investigation.
