A man from Neath Port Talbot has been jailed after committing multiple burglaries and a theft on the same night. 35-year-old Craig Leismeier, from Margam, committed his offences in the area of Taibach, Port Talbot on the night of Monday September 30. He targeted a licensed premises and a charity shop and was also responsible for the theft of a tip jar at a restaurant. Leismeier, who was on a suspended sentence at the time of his offending, has now been sentenced to six months in prison. Free education resources are now available to support schools in learning about the history of the Dee Valley. ‘Our Picturesque Landscape’ is a National Lottery Heritage Funded Project that has been working in the landscape of the Dee Valley and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal World Heritage Site since 2018.
