A man who stole sentimental jewellery worth thousands of pounds after breaking into a couple’s home in rural Wrexham has been jailed. Ian Wyn Edwards, 58, of no fixed address, was sentenced to two years for the offence at Caernarfon Crown Court today (Thursday, June 6th). The burglary occurred at a house in Froncysyllte last month on Monday, May 6th, where cash and family jewellery were stolen from an upstairs safe. Transport for Wales (TfW) will run free bike marking events this summer across the network, also aiming to show people the opportunities to cycle as part of every-day journeys. Officers are increasing patrols in the Llanberis area after three reported burglaries over the last week. The first incident was an attempt burglary overnight between May 29th and 30th at a property on the high street in Deiniolen.  Anyone with information on incident should contact us quoting reference 24000484966.
