Eight abandoned cats were taken into the care of the RSPCA – after rescuers found them in a property full of rubbish, multiple lumps of faeces, stale food and urine stains. A convicted paedophile has been sentenced to 20 years and 8 months for historic sexual offences against a child. Robert Evans from Ely, Cardiff, pleaded guilty to nine offences including rape of a child, sexual assault of child under 13 and breach of sex offenders’ notification requirements.
