Residents and visitors to Pontypridd town centre are advised that Berw Road Car Park will close for one week from May 20. This is necessary for the facility to be deep-cleaned and other essential repair work to be carried out. The public car park, located next to Pontypridd Police Station, will be closed from Monday, May 20, and is scheduled to reopen from Monday, May 27. Greater London has been named as the biggest hotspot for motorbike thefts in the UK, with a ratio of approximately 8.5 thefts for every 1,000 registered bikes in 2022. This suggests that the capital is one of the least safe places to own a bike. Nottinghamshire and the West Midlands complete the top three biggest hotspots, with ratios of 5.42 and 4.95 thefts for every 1,000 registered bikes, respectively.
