With spring already here, lots of horse races are about to begin and continue throughout the year. Horse Racing fans can find these events spread out across the world, with several events held in countries where horse racing is established as a sport.

If you’re a horse racing fan, here are the best events that you can attend in 2022.

    Melbourne Cup

The Melbourne Cup is among the most popular horse racing events of the year based at the Flemington racecourse away from the west. This horse racing event will start late November and end early November, making it a great way to end the year. The dates are yet to be confirmed but fans can check their website for more information about Melbourne Cup tickets and book a seat at the event.

Being late in 2022, the Melbourne Cup Carnival is among the flagship events that horse racing fans should attend. This major horse racing event draws around 100,000 fans and you can be among them if you’re in Australia or the neighboring countries.

    Cheltenham Festival

Based at the Charlton racecourse in England, the Cheltenham Festival is only days away. The event is starting from 15th to 18th March, with the least expensive tickets costing fans £40. However, the charges are subject to minor changes depending on the event organizer of the races across the four days.

    Kentucky Derby

In any given year, the Kentucky Derby is an excellent place to watch some quality horse races. This derby is among the most prestigious horse racing events in the USA, based in Louisville, Kentucky. The Derby will be happening in May this year, although the dates can be changed.

The Kentucky Derby is known for setting strict rules, allowing only the best horses to compete at the racecourse. Fans will only find experienced 3-year-old horses competing at this racecourse, but tickets can be expensive as their demand rises.

    The Royal Ascot

The Royal Ascot is a highly sought-after horse racing event by dedicated fans and investors. The event will start from 14th to 18th June at the Ascot Racecourse in England. The feature races will include flats for the Gold Cup, the Queen Anne Stakes, St James’s Palace Stakes, Golden Jubilee Stakes, Coronation Stakes, and Prince of Wales’s Stakes.

    Coral Summer Festival

This year’s summer will set in a more prominent style for horse racing fans, with the 2022 Coral Summer Festival hosted from 1st to 2nd July. The festival will run for a short duration, hosted at Sandown Park in England. Fans can expect the feature races to include flats for the Group 1 Coral-Eclipse, although the dates might be changed.

    Ladbrokes Christmas Festival

To end the year in the winter, horse racing fans can spend the holiday season in England and get to watch the 2022 Ladbrokes Christmas Festival at the Kempton Park Racecourse in Surrey. The featured races in this event are flats for the Mare’s Handicap Hurdle Race, King George VI Steeplechase, The Dessert Orchid Chase, and Wayward Lad Novice Steeplechase.
