The Big Retreat Pembrokeshire has officially announced its return for 2027, with organisers already looking ahead to next year’s event following another successful festival in west Wales.

The popular wellbeing, music and lifestyle festival will take place from 28 to 31 May 2027, bringing thousands of visitors back to Pembrokeshire for a weekend of live music, wellness activities, family entertainment, food and outdoor adventures.

While this year’s festival may have only recently come to a close, organisers say planning is already well underway for next year’s event, with several new features and improvements already confirmed.

Reflecting on feedback from festivalgoers, organisers revealed that the words most commonly used to describe the event were “fun”, “relaxing” and “friendly”.

In a message to supporters, organisers said they were proud that the feedback captured exactly what they aim to create each year.

“A place where you can try something new, reconnect with what matters, spend time with great people and create memories that stay with you long after the weekend ends.”

Several changes have already been announced for the 2027 festival.

All sessions within The Soul Space will now be included within the festival ticket price, giving attendees greater access to wellbeing activities throughout the weekend.

New areas dedicated to rest, relaxation and connection will also be introduced, providing quieter spaces for guests to recharge away from busier festival areas.

The Talk Tent will relocate to the Village Green, creating a more dedicated setting for speakers and discussions, while a new Gathering Place will offer a welcoming hub where visitors can meet others, seek information, relax or simply take time out during the event.

The space will be hosted by the festival’s Solo Traveller Manager and Accessibility Manager and will be open to all guests throughout the weekend.

Accommodation options are also being expanded, with new glamping accommodation featuring electric hook-ups being introduced. Family campers will also welcome the return of the popular football pitch.

Organisers have also revealed the first confirmed Main Stage act for 2027, with fan favourites Abba Revival set to return.

The tribute act proved a major hit at this year’s festival, with organisers saying requests for their return were among the most common pieces of feedback received.

“Please bring Abba back!” was a recurring message from festivalgoers following their performance.

The Big Retreat has become one of Wales’ most distinctive festivals, combining live music with yoga, wild swimming, inspirational talks, wellbeing sessions, outdoor activities and family experiences.

Organisers say the appeal lies in the fact that every visitor experiences the festival differently.

“Some come for the music. Some for the yoga. Some for the wild swimming. Some for the talks. Some for the food. Some for the adventure.

“Others simply come to spend time with family, reconnect with friends or meet people who just get it.”

The festival’s guiding philosophy remains unchanged heading into 2027: “Feel Good Your Way.”

First wave tickets for The Big Retreat Pembrokeshire 2027 are now on sale, with organisers offering a payment plan allowing visitors to spread the cost over 10 months. Glamping accommodation, including the new electric hook-up options, goes on sale from 17 June.
