Leading law firm Blake Morgan has announced the appointment of a new Legal Director to its fast-growing Real Estate team in Cardiff.

Charlotte Whitehead, who has significant expertise in advising on major commercial property transactions, takes up her new role with the firm immediately.

Charlotte, who brings a wealth of experience in acquisitions and disposals, leases, real estate financing and development work, joins Blake Morgan from another Cardiff-based law firm where she spent 13 years after graduating in law and studying the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff University.

James Egan, partner and Head of the Real Estate Team in Wales, said:

“We are delighted that Charlotte has chosen to join Blake Morgan and further strengthen the team. Her appointment as Legal Director reflects her expertise in advising on commercial property transactions and impressive track record of delivering excellent service to clients.”

Charlotte has previously acted for a variety of private and public sector clients including individuals, charitable bodies and local, national and international companies. She has extensive experience in the healthcare sector and acts for borrower and lender clients, including both national and regional banks and financial institutions, on development, acquisition and investment facilities. Commenting on her appointment, she said:

“I am excited about joining such a forward thinking, ambitious and talented team. I am very much looking forward to working with clients and the Blake Morgan team to contribute to their collective success and growth.”

Eve Piffaretti, head of Blake Morgan’s office in Wales, said:

“We are very excited that Charlotte has joined our Real Estate team, which has an unrivalled reputation for providing practical, commercially-focused solutions to clients across the UK. We are confident that Charlotte will be a significant asset to clients, our team and the wider firm.”
