BLUETTI, a technology pioneer in clean energy, today launches Pioneer Na(Sodium), The world’s first sodium-ion portable power station that can be safely charged at –15°C and discharged at –25°C. It uses a 900Wh sodium-ion battery instead of a lithium-ion one, ushering in a new era of portable, sustainable power. Available on the BLUETTI official website on 15th October, the Pioneer Na delivers reliable power in winter storms, ice fishing trips, and extreme cold conditions that typically challenge standard lithium batteries.

The Pioneer Na has already been recognized for its innovation and social impact, receiving the IFA Tech for Good Social Impact Award, highlighting its contribution to sustainable and reliable energy solutions.

    Reliable Power in Extreme Cold

When temperatures drop to subzero, most lithium-ion portable power stations become unusable due to lithium plating. The Pioneer Na breaks this limit. It safely recharges under –15°C without preheating and outputs 1,500W full power down to –25°C. With 9 versatile outlets, it seamlessly runs space heaters during a winter blackout, keeps lights on at a mountain cabin, and charges satellite phones in the harshest expeditions.

    Built for Safety and Durability

Sodium-ion batteries not only excel in the cold but also offer greater thermal stability with less risk of overheating. Backed by BLUETOPUS™ AI-BMS, the Pioneer Na is safeguarded against overcharging, short circuits, and other safety hazards. Its fire-retardant ABS+PC shell is drop-tested from 1.2 meters, 50% beyond industry standard, withstanding real-world bumps and burns.

    Recharge Fast, Go Faster

With 1,900W dual charging (AC+solar), the Pioneer Na recharges from 0–80% in just 35 minutes under typical conditions (10–25°C). That speed makes it perfect for last-minute ski trips and emergency preps. Far away from a wall outlet? It supports 1.9-hour alternator charging with Charger 1, ready before arriving at the campsite.

    High Power, Low Self-Consumption

At its core, the Pioneer Na delivers 1,500W output to run essentials like laptops, coffee makers, and tools. Winter campers can rely on it for heated blankets and hot coffee in remote cold zones. Power Lifting mode gives it a boost to 2,250W for resistive loads such as electric kettles. And with just 1.5W standby power, it wastes almost no energy—stretching its 900Wh capacity to run a 12W router for 44 hours or a 15W speaker for 37 hours.

    Green Energy for the Planet

The Pioneer Na is designed for longevity, offering over 4,000 charge cycles, or more than 10 years of reliable use in demanding environments. By incorporating sodium, a clean and abundant element, it reduces dependence on certain scarce metals, providing a more sustainable and responsible energy solution.

    Pricing & Availability

The BLUETTI Pioneer Na will be available exclusively on the BLUETTI official website starting 15th October at a special launch price of £799. Explore more here.
