Businesses across Bridgend County Borough are being invited to attend a Business Support Fair being organised by the council’s Economy team.

The free event will be taking place on Thursday 23 May between 4pm and 6pm at the Indoor Bowls Hall, Angel Street, Bridgend, CF31 4AH. This free drop-in session is aimed at new start-ups and existing businesses, offering guidance on the wide range of support available from a variety of business support organisations, including:

    • Bridgend County Borough Council
    • Business Wales
    • Department for Work & Pensions
    • Development Bank of Wales
    • Careers Wales
    • Employability Bridgend
    • Cwmpas

    and many more.

Attendees will also be able to find out about funding opportunities including grants available and have an opportunity to network with other businesses in the county borough. The event is free to attend and there is no need to register – you can simply turn up on the day.

We are delighted to be holding another business support fair in the Bowls Hall in May.

The event will be filled with excellent opportunities for businesses to get support from the council and enquire about funding available.

I hope that businesses across the county borough will find the event helpful and be able to access the support they need to prosper.

Councillor Neelo Farr, Cabinet Member for Community Safety and Wellbeing

The event is being funded by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.
