This spring, iconic Welsh brand Cadwaladers is launching a new Bara Brith, made with the company’s own, unique blend of Welsh tea, just in time to celebrate St David’s Day.

Supplying local customers and holidaymakers alike, Cadwaladers is committed to celebrating their Welsh roots by working with local suppliers to create their product range, and their new Bara Brith is no exception.

The Bara Brith will be available from 1 March at Cadwaladers’ nine stores across Wales, including in The Red Dragon Centre Cardiff Bay, Barry Island and Criccieth.

Gemma Hammacott, Managing Director of Cadwaladers Cardiff, said: “We are delighted to have worked with our long-standing Welsh supply partners to develop our exclusive Cadwaladers Bara Brith.

“We continuously strive to bring fresh new ideas to our core product range whilst celebrating our Welsh roots, so creating a Bara Brith using our own tea blend was a natural fit for us.”

Founded in 1927, the Cadwalader family made and sold their secret recipe vanilla ice cream from the window of their Criccieth general store. Today, together with their renowned secret recipe vanilla ice cream, Cadwaladers serve a far broader range of ice cream flavours together with a delicious selection of sundaes, cakes, freshly made Sandwiches and Pizza all complimented with the serving of Cadwaladers’ own blend tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
