Cardiff Bus customers are being alerted to service changes taking place across its network from this weekend.

The operator is set to alter services from Sunday March 21st to reflect the current ‘stay local’ Welsh Government rule.

With this new guidance, the operator recognises that more customers will be returning to work and school, so in response will be increasing journey frequencies and running busses on more routes.

    Timetable changes will affect services 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9,  11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 21, 23, 23, 25, 27, 28, 28A, 28B, 30, 35, 44, 44B, 45, 45B, 49, 50, 51, 52, 57, 58, 61, 62, 63, 64, 92, 94, 95, 95A, 96, 96A, 97, 97A, 98, H59, X59.

    Services 9C, 12, 53, 65, 65A, 66, 93, 100, X45 will also be re-introduced from this date.

Full information on service changes can be viewed on cardiffbus.com

Commercial Director Gareth Stevens said: “We are set to increase frequencies and routes from this Sunday which we hope will assist our customers in returning to work and school safely in line with the latest Welsh Government update.

“Whilst our bus services will be increased, we want to remind customers that face coverings are mandatory on buses, unless exempt.  A face covering should cover your nose and mouth for the entire duration of your journey and should be applied before you board.

“We would encourage all our customers to check the revised timetable and route details before travelling, as they will be subject to change from March 21st.

“Please check our website, social media and app for all the latest travel news and information.”
