Coldplay are coming to Cardiff for their Music of the Spheres World Tour Concert at the Principality Stadium and fans and bus users in Cardiff are being urged to plan their journeys ahead of time.

Cardiff Bus would like to make customers aware of diversions and road closures which are set to come into force on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th June from 16:00 until the last bus.

Services running through Cardiff city centre will be affected, and cross city routes will be split.

Services 1 and 2, 5, 7 and C2 (CAVC Rider) will start and end at Canal Street, and the Baycar (service 6) will start and end at Customhouse Street JG.

    Services 13, 15, 17, 18, 25, 32, 61, 62, 63, 64 and 66 will start and end at Fitzhamon Embankment.

    Services 4, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96 and 96A will start and end at Tudor Street.

Services 8, 9 and X45 towards Cardiff Bay and the Sports Village will start and end at Hayes Bridge Road.

    Services 8 and 9 to the Heath Hospital, 11, 44, 45, 49, 50, 52, 57, 58 and 59 will start and end at Churchill Way.

Services 21, 23, 24, 35, 51, 53 and service 95 towards the Heath Hospital will start and end on Greyfriars Road, while services 27, 28, 28A, 28B and 30 will start from a temporary stop on Kingsway.

Gareth Stevens, Commercial Director at Cardiff Bus said: “Ahead of Coldplay’s world tour coming to Cardiff, we would like to make customers aware that in order to accommodate road closures and to ensure travel can continue without too much disruption, buses will divert and use alternative bus stops in the city centre. Our website and app have been updated to reflect these changes.

“We would advise all our customers to check these route and bus stop changes before travelling to Cardiff to ensure they are fully informed on the diversions in place.”
