CGI has announced a five year partnership with Volkswagen Group entities in the UK to provide them with managed IT services to support their transformation journey and sustainable mobility strategy.  The new managed IT services contract will prioritise customer services and address both business and IT priorities, providing a service to adapt to changes in the business environment and evolving consumer demands.

Donna Kelly, Senior Vice President, South & Midlands at CGI, said, “We are delighted to announce our five-year partnership with Volkswagen Group UK. We are excited to support them on their digital journey and help them offer an improved user experience for employees and customers alike. Volkswagen Group UK’s approach is highly aligned with CGI’s values of sustainability and inclusivity.”

Michael Marr, CIO at Volkswagen Group UK, said: “We chose CGI due to their compelling service offering, reputation for quality of delivery and organisational values which align with ours.   We are very much looking forward to working with the CGI team together with Group IT departments of other Volkswagen Group entities here in the UK.”

The managed IT services will include access to CGI’s five-star SDI accredited IT service desk based in Bridgend, underpinned by CGI’s focus on service excellence and continuous improvement and innovation, including the introduction of modern contact channels and service automation. Additionally, CGI and Volkswagen prioritise adopting sustainable practices at the heart of this partnership, both showing they are committed to ensuring their everyday operations meet their combined sustainability goals over the five-year period.
