Met Office says Wales will see a largely cloudy but mostly dry start to the week, with the chance of drizzle and some brighter spells developing later.
Today, Tuesday 5 May, will be mostly cloudy and dry across much of the country. There may be occasional brighter breaks where cloud thins, although thicker cloud could bring a few spots of drizzle. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of around 16°C.
Into this evening and overnight, cloud will remain widespread with an increasing chance of patchy drizzle. Temperatures will stay relatively mild for the time of year, with a low of around 4°C.
Wednesday is expected to begin on a grey and damp note, with cloudy conditions dominating the morning. However, conditions should gradually improve through the afternoon as cloud begins to lift and break, allowing for some brighter or sunny intervals. Maximum temperatures will reach around 14°C.
Looking ahead to Thursday through to Saturday, the settled pattern is set to continue, with largely cloudy skies and occasional scattered showers. There will still be some brighter spells at times, and it is expected to turn a little warmer as the week progresses.
Motorists and commuters are advised to be aware of patchy drizzle during the mornings and evenings, which could lead to damp conditions on the roads.
