    Dreygo the dragon makes Mermaid Quay its lair to celebrate St David’s Day

    Mermaid Quay will be celebrating St David’s Day in true Welsh style with a family friendly event and special guest Dreygo the dragon.

    This free event welcomes visitors to celebrate St David’s Day and enjoy the festivities on the waterfront on Saturday 2ndMarch from 11am to 4pm.

    During the event visitors will have the opportunity to meet Dreygo and his baby dragon up close to experience its lifelike movements, as well as free face painting for children and Welsh flag giveaways.

    Becky Jones, Marketing Manager at Mermaid Quay, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Dreygo the dragon to Mermaid Quay for this special St David’s Day celebration. It’s an opportunity for families to come together and celebrate our patron saint whilst creating lasting memories.”
