Traffic Wales has issued an update for motorists, warning of disruption on several key routes across south Wales today.

Drivers are being advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys due to ongoing issues affecting the following roads:

On the A4232 between Culverhouse Cross and Capel Llanilltern, delays are being reported in both directions.

On the M4 westbound between Junction 23A at Magor and Junction 26 at Malpas, traffic is experiencing disruption, with drivers urged to expect slower than normal journey times.

Meanwhile, on the A470 northbound between Coryton and Nantgarw, motorists are also facing delays.

Traffic Wales has not confirmed how long the disruption is expected to last, but is urging road users to check the latest updates before travelling and to consider alternative routes where possible.

Motorists are reminded to drive with care and be patient while travelling through affected areas.
