Award winning South Wales company Edwards Coaches has revealed the designs for its ten charity buses at an event in the prestigious Hensol Castle.

The ten charities won the opportunity to have free advertising space on the back of an Edwards’ vehicle for a year via a social media competition which launched in April. The original intention was to have four winners on one vehicle for three months each. However, Edwards were so overwhelmed with the response they decided to extend the number of winning entries to ten. A total of 84 charities were nominated.

Each of the winning charities submitted their own designs which were applied by D & S Signs and can be spotted on various local service bus routes throughout the Pontypridd and Cardiff areas as well as two school buses.

The event was attended by representatives from all the chosen charities, including ITV’s Andrea Byrne on behalf of Believe Organ Donor Support.

[/aoa]Jason Edwards FCILT, Managing Director of Edwards said: “Ever since we launched our social media competition we have been excited for the day when we can reveal the charities’ designs. It’s very important to us at Edwards that we are able to give back to our community and these adverts are a fantastic way for these organisations to gain exposure across South Wales.
We have been very humbled by the stories that these charities have shared with us and so we can’t wait to see their important messages travelling across our roads.”
