The family and partner of David Rogers, 58, who died in hospital following an incident in Pencoed on Saturday, February 28, have paid tributes to their loved one.
His family said:
“David was a proud father of four sons, Aaron, Cory, Kane, and Saul. He was a devoted brother to his sister, Bethan, an uncle to his nieces and nephews, Lewis and Leah, and cherished son to his mother, Judy. He was a loving former partner to the mother of his children, Michelle. Family meant everything to him. He loved going on overseas adventures, playing golf at the Vale Resort, and being known as ‘Disco Dave’.”
His partner, Abbie, added:
“He was loved by all that knew him. My person, my forever, my best friend. We as a family don’t even know how to begin to move on without him. The children could never have asked for a better stepdad that always went above and beyond. We, as a family, are now left with a hole in our lives that will never be filled. We now need time to grieve. We found our forever when we found each other. Love you always, my David.”
David Rogers died in hospital on Monday, March 2, where he had been in a critical condition since being admitted following the incident on Saturday, February 28. His family are being supported at this time.
