On the eve of the arrival of Madness at Ffos Las Racecourse, plans are all in place to welcome one of the biggest crowds ever to the venue tomorrow – with tickets still up for grabs and shuttle buses laid on to help visitors get there, hassle-free.

Ska fans are going nutty for Madness tickets, with Suggs and the lads heading to the venue tomorrow (Saturday 25 May) as part of their A Day At The Races and Other Places tour.

People who are heading to the event are being reminded that a handy shuttlebus is place, operating from Llanelli train station on the day. Punters are being urged to use the buses running direct from the train station to the racecourse to avoid getting caught in long queues coming in and out of the venue.Buses will run every 15 to 30 minutes from 2.30pm with buses leaving Ffos Las after the concert between 10.45pm and midnight. The cost is £5 return per person.

While many fans have already bagged their tickets via the Ffos Las website, at https://ffoslasracecourse.com/,tickets are also available to walk-ups on the day too – so it’s never too late to ensure your weekend has some fizz to it.

With 15 top 10 UK singles including One Step Beyond, It Must Be Love and the number one hit House of Fun, concert goers will be able to celebrate over 40 years of one of most iconic and loveable bands after they perform live after racing around 9.30pm.

Phil Bell, Executive Director at Ffos Las Racecourse, said:

“We’re gearing up for a big day here at Trimsaran and we’re expecting one of the biggest crowds we’ve ever had in our ten-year history. We want to make sure people find the whole process simple. We’re delighted to be able to offer a shuttle service to the venue, so you don’t even have to worry about choosing a designated driver, and you shouldn’t have any long queues to contend with. Whether you’re coming from Llanelli or further afield, using the public transport on offer will get everyone’s days off to the right start.

“We are pleased to see more and more people coming to Ffos Las not simply for an enjoyable day of racing, but also for special events like these – we have the facilities, we have a stunning location and we are able to attract top class acts like Madness. Keep your eyes peeled for more special events at Ffos Las throughout the year.”

The nutty boys are expected to draw a crowd of up to 8,500, a figure that was only topped during the race venue’s opening day, ten years ago.

Tickets for Madness at Ffos Las, with jump racing beginning at 3pm, cost £40 if bought in advance, and £20 for those aged 17 and under. There are hospitality packages available too, from: https://ffoslasracecourse.com/
