Parts of Wales are set for another spell of unsettled weather this week, with flood warnings already in force, according to the Met Office and Natural Resources Wales.
After a damp weekend, Monday will bring a mix of sunshine and showers across the country. The best of the brightness will be early on, before rain spreads northwards through the day, heavy in places and occasionally breezy. Temperatures will reach around 12°C.
Tonight, scattered showers are expected before turning mostly dry for a time. However, wet and windy conditions will return by morning, with strong southerly winds developing along coastal areas. It will briefly feel chilly with lows around 5°C, becoming milder later in the night.
Tuesday will be a blustery and at times wet day, with spells of heavy rain. Some drier interludes are likely in the afternoon, and it will feel mild with highs of up to 14°C.
From Wednesday through to Friday, conditions will remain unsettled and changeable. More periods of rain are expected, occasionally heavy and persistent in parts of Wales, although there will be some clearer, drier intervals between downpours. Winds will stay strong at times, particularly near the coast.
Natural Resources Wales has issued several flood warnings, and residents are being urged to stay alert and check local updates regularly.
