No less than six DJs will join the undisputed prince of UK Garage Sammy Virji when he brings his unmissable headline show to Cardiff this summer.

Breakthrough artist Sammy – who has gone from delivering viral DJ Mag sets to pulling massive Coachella crowds – is bringing the party to TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle on Saturday July 18.

And it is announced today he will be joined by Austrian DJ and record producer Salute and DJsSilva Bumpa, Arthi, SAINT LUDO, Yemz and Cardiff’s Lucas Alexander.

Vienna-born Salute has become more than a producer – they are a cultural innovator representing a club scene that is diverse, queer and community driven. Since emerging as one of the UKs most exciting electronic voices, they have built a reputation for balancing raw emotion with dancefloor ecstasy, weaving grime, UK Garage, electro, French house, jazz, gospel, R&B and hip hop into a singular, unmistakeable vision.

Their music channels as much emotional resonance as physical release and this ability has not only won over audiences worldwide, but has also earned praise from heavyweights including Four Tet, DJ Seinfield, Floating Points, Skrillex, Fred again…, Annie Mac and Benji B.

Ahead of Salute’s set, Cardiff Castle will welcome producer and DJ Silva Bumpa – one of the fastest rising names in UK dance music.

Combining a UK bass grit with the singalong bounce of club classics, Silva Bumpa’s sounds bottle the effervescent spirit of mid-noughties bassline with solid songwriting.

2024 saw a sold-out UK headline tour, notable festival slots at Glastonbury, Boomtown and Outlook, and a rapidly growing fan base across Europe and Australia rooting him as a key UK garage name in live circuits overseas.

Also joining the bill are multi-genre Arthi and party-starter SAINT LUDO who will come together on stage for a seismic B2B set.

And opening the night are Bristol-based Yemz and Cardiff’s Lucas Alexander – currently hailed as the hottest name in House music in Wales.

Final tickets are available from 10am Tuesday via depotlive.co.uk and ticketmaster.co.uk
