After months of meticulous planning and design work, Giggling Squid Cardiff is almost open for business. The new flagship restaurant is Giggling Squid’s first venture into Wales and will feature bright and colourful décor, bold floral wallpaper and, of course, a tantalising Thai menu.

Officially due to open on Monday 12th June, Giggling Squid Cardiff will find its home at Cardiff’s biggest shopping centre, St David’s Centre. The new restaurant will be able to seat almost 200 guests at one time, offering soft banquet seating and cosy dining spaces for two – perfect for any occasion.

As well as an eye-catching design, there will be delicious dishes for Cardiff locals to try. With firm favourites like the sweet Sticky Chicken and silky Thai Green Curry, as well as lighter bites including the fragrant Crispy Spiced Seafood, each dish features bold flavours cooked with love and expertise.

Taking inspiration from Thai traditions, celebrating the exotic ingredients found across Thailand and cooked by expert chefs, there is something for everyone at Giggling Squid Cardiff. On the menu is a range of sharing platters, including the Isaan Platter with Spring Rolls, Thai Spice Rice Balls and Tamarind Mushrooms – perfect for mid-week date nights or celebrating occasions with family and friends.

Giggling Squid Co-founder, Andy Laurillard, commented on opening of the Cardiff restaurant: “We can’t wait to touch down in Cardiff just in time for summer! The St David’s Centre restaurant will be our flagship restaurant, offering up some of the tastiest dishes to our Welsh customers.”

Located at St David’s, 29-33 The Hayes, Cardiff, CF10 1GA, Giggling Squid will open to guests from Monday 12th June.  Openinghours: Monday-Sunday 11pm – 10.30pm.
