Rhondda Heritage Park Museum will be transformed into a world of spooky surprises, family entertainment and Halloween activities this October.
The Halloween Spooktacular will return from Wednesday 28 October to Friday 30 October 2026, offering three days of themed activities and adventures for families.
Each child’s ticket includes seven experiences, starting with a visit to the pumpkin patch where children can choose a pumpkin to take home.
Families will also be able to explore the museum during a Halloween hunt, searching for hidden surprises and collecting stamps to earn a treat.
The programme includes a live Halloween show featuring laughter, mischief and seasonal magic, alongside hands-on arts and crafts activities.
Themed selfie stations will provide opportunities for family photographs, while visitors can also venture into the Abandoned Mine to encounter singing skeletons, spooky surprises and Patch the pumpkin.
Two classic fairground rides will complete the experience for young witches, wizards and monsters.
The attraction’s popular Twilight Sessions will also return. These include all the daytime activities as well as exclusive evening entertainment featuring eerie characters and additional surprises.
Councillor Scott Emanuel, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Communities, Culture and Leisure, said: “Halloween Spooktacular has become a much-loved event in our calendar, giving families the opportunity to enjoy a unique day out filled with entertainment, creativity and seasonal fun.
“Rhondda Heritage Park Museum is a fantastic family attraction throughout the year, but during Halloween it becomes a truly magical experience.
“From selecting a pumpkin and exploring the Abandoned Mine to enjoying live performances and the return of our Twilight Sessions, there is something for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming visitors for another memorable Halloween at Rhondda Heritage Park Museum.”
Daytime sessions will run from 10am to noon, 12.30pm to 2.30pm and 3pm to 5pm. The Twilight Session will take place from 6pm to 8pm.
Tickets start from £17.50 for one adult and one child, including the booking fee. Other ticket options and individual tickets are available when booking.
