Savills, and joint agent Knight Frank, on behalf of Aegon Asset Management, has completed the letting of 101 St Mary Street in Cardiff, to Hamlyn Williams, the specialist recruitment firm.

Hamlyn Williams has agreed a five year lease on the second floor suite extending approximately 6,461 sq ft at £116,298 per annum.

101 has been refurbished to provide high quality open plan office space with a number of modern features including exposed services, concrete wash hand basins and feature lighting with each floor providing approximately 6,461 sq ft. The building also benefits from shower facilities and air conditioning.

Gary Carver, office agency director at Savills Cardiff, comments: “Demand for good quality refurbished city centre office space remains strong. The landlords decision to provide ‘de-furbished’ space, which is particularly attractive to the tech and creative sectors, has paid dividends and ultimately proved attractive to Hamlyn Williams. The building is now fully occupied.”

Mark Sutton, partner at Knight Frank, adds: “Occupiers are demanding more from their office space – it needs to attract, engage and excite their employees as well as giving the tenant an identity. The refurbishment of 101 does just that – a great location, and a high quality refurbishment creating a contemporary space for Hamlyn Williams who join Sonovate, Gorilla and CPS to complete the tenant line up in the building.”
