A 17-year-old female has sadly died following an incident in Llanddulas.

Shortly before 9.30am today, 13 April, the teenager was found in the area of Craig Nant Dulas on Rhydyfoel Road.

Emergency services, two air ambulances and mountain rescue volunteers attended the scene, where she was sadly pronounced deceased.

The death is not being treated as suspicious, and the coroner has been informed.

Chief Inspector Steve Pawson said: “My deepest thoughts and condolences are with her family, who have been informed of the tragic incident.

“We kindly ask that the privacy of the family is respected at this difficult time.”
