Colleagues at Hodge, one of Wales’ leading financial services institutions, are proud to have played a key role in this year’s Pride Cymru parade, which took place in Cardiff city centre at the weekend (June 22/23).

The Hodge team joined more than 50,000 revellers attending the two-day extravaganza, taking their place in the event as parade sponsor.

Wales’ biggest celebration of equality and diversity brought its capital city alive as thousands of people made their way through Cardiff on the annual march in support of the LGBTQ+ community, in spectacular style.

Performances from the likes of Ultrabeat, Venga Boys and ‘Scissor Sisters’ frontman Jake Shears also raised the roof on two main stages at Cardiff Castle before the sun set on one of Cardiff’s most colourful events for another year.

Dave Landen, CEO of Hodge, said of the lender’s role in Pride Cymru 2024: “It was a proud moment for Hodge to be able to take part in such a spectacular celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and we are thrilled to that Hodge had the opportunity to play our part in this year’s parade.

“As an organisation committed to equality, diversity and inclusion, the atmosphere and joy experienced by our colleagues as a key sponsor of the Pride Cymru 2024 parade is something that will stay with us for a long time.”

In 2018, Hodge established its own equality, diversity and inclusion group comprised of colleagues from across the business, who work alongside its Colleague Alliance committee to ensure the organisation is doing all it can to support best practice and reflect its diverse workforce.
