Digital helpline provider Connect Assist is offering charities a unique behind-the-scenes look into the technologies and practical aspects of delivering multi-channel helplines.

Taking place on Thursday 12 July, the organisation’s ‘Inside Outsourcing’ event will give charities the opportunity to find out more about the technologies, people and processes behind helpline delivery.

Ron Moody, CEO at Connect Assist said:

“We’ve been partnering with both large and small charities for over 12 years and have learnt a lot along the way.

“This free event is a great opportunity for us to share our experience and knowledge and give something back to the sector, at a time of unprecedented challenges.

“We understand the pressures charities work under as well as the tight budgets available to them and we know the technology behind CRM systems and delivery of contact centres can be overwhelming for many organisations considering their options.

“At our ‘Inside Outsourcing’ event we’ll explain what’s available, how it works and the considerations necessary in designing effective supporter and beneficiary services.

“We’re looking forward to offering what we hope will be a great event with valuable insights and practical advice.”

Anyone working in the third sector is eligible to attend the free event, which will be held at Connect Assist’s offices in Nantgarw (20 minutes from Cardiff Central train station) from 9.30am – 5.00pm.

Joyce Harmon, consultant at Hart Square, Patrick Nash, founder director of Connect Assist and Ron Moody, CEO at Connect Assist will all be speaking at the event which includes seminars on a range of topics including CRMs, the latest cloud-based technologies, staff recruiting, safeguarding and training.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to spend time with front-line advisers delivering helpline services on behalf of high-profile charities.

Connect Assist works with some of the UK’s leading charities including The Royal British Legion and Mind.

Supporting charities looking to improve their reach and cost-effectiveness, the organisation’s helpline services focus on supporting beneficiaries to make positive changes in their lives.
