Kidney Wales holding decadent par-tea to kick off fundraising

Welsh charity Kidney Wales is launching a month of fundraising with a decadent tea party in Cardiff’s Park Plaza.

The event at one of the city’s most luxurious hotels will be held on Sunday 4th March and will help raise vital funds for kidney patients and their families Wales-wide.

Following a red-carpet arrival guests will be treated to a glass of prosecco before enjoying a sumptuous selection of sandwiches and cakes.

Roy Thomas, Chief Executive of Kidney Wales said: “Renowned across Cardiff for their exceptional afternoon teas, this event at the Park Plaza is sure to be a real treat.

“Around one in ten people have some form of kidney disease and we at Kidney Wales are working hard to support families and change lives of kidney patients in Wales. The support of businesses like Park Plaza is vital in ensuring that we can continue our important work so we’re very grateful to the team at Park Plaza for their contribution.”

One in 10 people are likely to experience kidney disease and all proceeds from the tea party will go directly towards helping kidney patients and their families through hard times.

For anyone who can’t make the event on 4th March but would still like to help, Kidney Wales is inviting the people of Wales to hold their own tea party during March.
