A financial services company based in Swansea is continuing its relationship with the city’s Liberty Stadium, Swansea City AFC and Ospreys Rugby through a commercial sponsorship deal to support the venue’s hospitality lounge.

Godi Financial, the only foreign exchange (FX) company based in Wales, began its support of the stadium’s state-of-the-art hospitality lounge in 2016, where the firm made an investment to create the suite. This latest agreement with Swansea City AFC ensures the extension of its partnership to three years with the lounge and the stadium’s clubs, to continue to offer a desirable facility for corporate clients and fans in the region.

The original development of the hospitality lounge resulted from a collaboration between the Stadium Management Company, Ospreys Rugby and Swansea City AFC along with Godi, to compliment the wider refurbishment of hospitality facilities at the Liberty Stadium.

Godi Financial – formerly OSTCFX – was confirmed as the official FX partner of the Ospreys in summer 2013. The company’s latest sponsorship deal will see its logo displayed on the shorts of the Osprey’s rugby kit.

[/aoa]As an international business, Godi Financial’s alignment with such strong international sporting brands as the Ospreys and Swans will continue to assist with promoting the company and its leading financial services on a global scale.

Mark Davies, Global Head of Partnerships and Sales at Swansea City AFC, said:

“We are thrilled with our continued partnership with Godi Financial, which is now entering its third year. The support from the company and its affiliation with our prestigious corporate lounge has enabled countless members of the community to enjoy its facility, while showcasing the clubs and Godi internationally. It is through such dedicated support from firms such as Godi that we are able to consistently enhance our offering to businesses and members of the public in the region.”

Paul Langley, Managing Director of Godi Financial, added:

“We are really pleased to be continuing our relationship with Swansea City, the Ospreys and the Liberty Stadium through our support of the lounge, which is such a sought-after venue for business people and fans in the area. Its modern facilities and view over the pitch is impressive and we are proud of our association with the lounge, the Swans and the Ospreys.

“Being able to maintain our association with such prominent international brands through our continued investment in the Swansea area and its community is extremely important to Godi. It’s a relationship that fits well with our overall business ethos, which is to partner with organisations that retain a strong community focus while succeeding on an international stage.

“We are confident that the Swans will once again return to the top level of football and we are therefore more than happy to continue our journey with them.“

Having processed more than £500 million in transactions since its inception, Godi has established relationships with over 100 Welsh companies, saving them over £750,000 in the process.
