Llanelli law firm DPA Law has presented a donation of £1,985.39 to the Peony Breast Care Unit at Prince Philip Hospital, helping to support specialist care for people undergoing diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer. The contribution follows a year of fundraising by the firm’s staff, with generous support from its clients.
The money was raised through a programme of staff-led activities, including bake sales and Christmas jumper days, which brought colleagues together behind a cause that has touched many families across the local community. Clients also played an important part in the campaign by choosing to donate residual balances held on completed matters to DPA Law’s fundraising initiative.

The donation will help the Peony Breast Care Unit continue to provide specialist services for patients and families in Llanelli and the surrounding communities. Charitable contributions complement core funding by helping the unit invest in lifesaving diagnostic and treatment equipment, maintain patient facilities and enhance the support available throughout each person’s care.
During their visit, representatives from DPA Law met members of the team and learned more about the unit’s work. The presentation highlighted the value of partnerships between local organisations, healthcare teams and the wider community in supporting services close to home.
