Owners and staff at Tyn Dwr Hall say they are ‘thrilled’ to have been awarded the Best Wedding Venue of the Year in the North Wales Wedding Awards 2021.

General Manager Tracey Owen said the win was a ‘great confidence boost’ after a difficult 18 months with COVID restrictions and weddings being cancelled.

She said: “We were thrilled to receive the news that Tyn Dwr Hall have been awarded Best Wedding Venue at the North Wales Wedding Awards. We’re so proud of the team here at the hall and this award is testament to the hard work they constantly put in to deliver the very best experience to our couples.”

The 19th Century Country Hall underwent a complete renovation in 2015 by Knights Construction and has since become a popular venue for weddings for couples in both Wales and the rest of the UK.

With weddings able to take place on the lawn, looked over by historical Welsh countryside and indoors in the purpose built Garden Room, couples have spoken of the ‘enchanting’ setting of the hall which has been respectfully renovated with modern features.

The hall, like all wedding venues in Wales, was forced to close during the COVID-19 pandemic, however since July, the hall has been working with couples to get back on track and fulfil its commitments to create stunning weddings for weddings of up to 150 people.

The judges in the North Wales Wedding Awards, which is created by Weddings Guide, recognised the hall’s commitment to high standards in customer service, adaptability and compassion towards its couples.

Tracey added: “We would like to say a big thank you to all our couples who voted for us, after a difficult 18 months. We are already nearly fully booked for 2022 and we have bookings running into 2024 which is a great confidence boost! We’re so pleased that we’re finally back doing we do best!”
