    Llanmoor Homes unveils plans for up to 850 new homes in Bridgend

    South Wales developer Llanmoor Homes has unveiled exciting plans for one of its largest housing developments, which will bring up to 850 new homes and a school to Bridgend.
    Llanmoor plans to build up to 850 properties on approximately 90 acres of land on the western edge of the town, between Bryntirion and Laleston.
    The Parc Llangewydd development will include a new primary school as well as large areas of public open space, a multi-use games area and areas with play equipment.
    Some 20% of the homes will be designated as affordable housing and transferred to a local housing association.
    It is expected that 382 homes will be built in the first phase of the development.
    The development has been designed with nature in mind, including woodland and grassland glades at the north end of the site, and bat boxes and bird boxes installed throughout.
    The site was allocated for development in Bridgend Council’s local development plan, which was adopted in March 2024.
    Tim Grey, Sales Director at Llanmoor Homes, said: “We are proud to be unveiling plans for this exciting development, which will bring much-needed housing to Bridgend.
    “Once approved, it will be the second largest development we have undertaken, and our largest in Bridgend.
    “We have an excellent working relationship with Bridgend Council stretching back more than 25 years, and we have built many hundreds of quality homes in the local authority area.
    “We have worked closely with the council to design and bring forward this development, and we are very excited to see the plans come to life.”
    Llanmoor Homes’ most recent development in the Bridgend area is Parc Tondu, a development of 405 two, three and four bedroom homes near Tondu.
