Families across Pembrokeshire are being encouraged to take advantage of the expanded Flying Start childcare offer, with all children now able to access 12.5 hours of funded childcare per week.
The enhanced provision forms part of Pembrokeshire County Council’s and Welsh Government’s ongoing commitment to supporting children in their early years and helping families access high-quality childcare and early learning opportunities.
The funded childcare offer provides children with opportunities to learn, play and develop in a safe and nurturing environment, whilst also supporting parents and carers with childcare costs and enabling greater flexibility for work, training and family life.

The expanded childcare offer is expected to benefit families across the county by increasing access to affordable childcare and supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development.
