    Motorcyclist dies in collision with Cardiff Bus

    South Wales Police are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred shortly after 6:30pm on the evening of Friday 3rd  April 2020, at the junction of the A4119 James Street and Adelaide Street, Cardiff Bay.

    The collision involved a KTM RC8 motorcycle and a Cardiff Bus. Unfortunately the male rider of the motorcycle, a 34 year old local male, died at scene as a result of his injuries despite the best efforts of Ambulance and Air Ambulance staff. The male’s family are being supported by a specially trained officer.

    South Wales Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or the manner in which either vehicle was being driven or ridden prior to the collision, or have any other relevant information, to  contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, quoting reference *112725.
