Mrs Buckét, the award-winning specialist cleaning operation, today welcomes leading UK Transport and Warehousing company, Owens Group, to its client portfolio.

Working across 11 sites along the M4 corridor, Mrs Buckét will deliver regular contract cleaning services including internal and external cleaning and disinfection using state-of-the-art machinery and EN14476-approved chemicals. 15 new members of staff have been employed by the cleaning specialist to support the new contract.

Owens represents the 35th new client contract to be signed in the past 12 months, following a period of sustained growth for the business. Despite the pandemic, Mrs Buckét secured a £2.9m turnover in 2020, with a forecasted turnover of £4.2m for 2021. The company’s headcount meanwhile has grown by 25 per cent, with ongoing plans to employ more specialist cleaners and supervisors.

Ian Owen, Operations Director of Owens Group, commented: “COVID-19 brought the significance of cleaning and hygiene to the forefront of every business leader’s mind. The need to keep our staff and customers safe during the crisis was, and still is, of utmost importance.

“We needed to bring in a specialist team who could not only help us fulfil this short-term need to protect our workforce from the coronavirus but could also work with us in the longer-term to raise the bar of cleaning standards across the logistics industry as a whole.

“Partnering with Mrs Buckét across all of our sites was a no-brainer and it has taken us to a new level. The whole team, from the day-to-day cleaners to senior management, are incredibly responsive and are always on hand for our every need. The knowledge and expertise every single member of the team showcases puts us at ease, we know we’re in a safe pair of hands with Mrs Buckét.

Mrs Buckét CEO, Rachael Flanagan, commented: “The pandemic has changed the way many businesses think about cleaning and cleaners. The service is no longer a luxury, but a key cog in keeping businesses running – especially during the current crisis.

“We are extremely happy to be working with Owens to ensure that its impeccably high standards are continuously met, that staff and consumers are kept safe and that its brand reputation remains spotless.”
