The Safety Letterbox Company, the UK’s leading designer and manufacturer of mail and parcel solutions, has been awarded accreditation against the Investors in People Standard, demonstrating their commitment to high performance through good people management.

Launched in 1986, The Safety Letterbox Company provides hi-tech, bespoke and secure letter and parcel boxes throughout the UK and worldwide.

Based in Neath, South Wales, the company employs 48 members of staff and has worked on some of the world’s most prestigious developments, including prominent London residences. It recently launched its parcel box division to the business, which is set to revolutionise parcel management for both consumers and businesses.

Investors in People is the international standard for people management, defining what it takes to lead, support and manage people effectively to achieve sustainable results. Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People framework, reflecting the latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. Investors in People enables organisations to benchmark against the best in the business on an international scale.

Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said:

“We’d like to congratulate The Safety Letterbox Company, Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, an outperforming place to work and a clear commitment to success. The Safety Letterbox Company should be extremely proud of their achievement.”

Commenting on the award, Alison Orrells, managing director of The Safety Letterbox Company, said:

“We are thrilled to be recognised as an Investors in People company once again and receive this re-accreditation. We were first accredited by Investors in People in August 2002, and with this latest accreditation under the organisation’s new sixth generation framework, we have now had Investors in People status for 15 years.

“Our staff are integral to our success as a business and so focusing efforts on excellent leadership, support and management to benefit them is of utmost importance. We prioritise our employees’ development and aspirations on an individual basis and this personalised approach helps them to achieve their goals and contributes to maintaining a positive working environment.”
