Singer Sofia Camara and rapper and musician Jimothy Lacoste are the latest names to be added to the bill for this summer’s line-up at TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle.

Sofia joins indie pop greats Bastille to open their headlining set on Friday July 10, while Jimothy will open for celebrated British multi-hyphenates The Streets on Friday July 31.

    Sofia Camara

Portuguese/Canadian artist Sofia Camara brings raw truth into 21st Century pop as she taps directly into emotion with each and every performance and song. Opening for Bastille, Cardiff can expect a thrilling performance ahead of special guest Arthur Hill.

Mid-COVID, Sofia’s take on When I Look At You by Miley Cyrus exploded on TikTok, scoring 9.8 million views and a comment from Miley herself. To date, Sofia has amassed more than 150 million streams and most recently she released second EP Hard To Love last autumn while embarking on her first UK headline tour.

Opening for The Streets, rapper and musician Jimothy Lacoste is back sharing self-produced tracks that often explore everyday scenarios with a humorous and optimistic twist. Touching on topics like public transport, dating, and personal aspirations, he’s garnered an international fanbase.

He joins previously announced elusive UK rapper CASISDEAD on the line up.

Bastille and The Streets join the likes of Hollywood Vampires, Bowling For Soup and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Katy Perry, MIKA, Empire Of The Sun, David Gray, Sex Pistols and many more among the headliners for TK Maxx presents Depot Live At Cardiff Castle.
