Team Wales have launched the Tîm Cymru Clwb Busnes, with Cardiff Metropolitan University as its headline sponsor, and their launch event is happening this month.

The Business Club will highlight the depth and breadth of sporting talent across Wales, with both athletes and the dedicated support staff further emphasising the pride and power of the Team Wales brand. We will look to drive the business network across Team Wales member sports, partner organisations and wider stakeholders to share inspiring stories, educate and learn from one another, and further enhance our network using the power of Tîm Cymru. Creating a strong network of businesses in Wales who share a passion across multiple sports across the country. Team Wales Business Club will be touring all of Wales and will have over 7 events every year.

The Business Club is a unique opportunity to celebrate the talent and pride of Team Wales athletes and their first event will take place on Tuesday 26th September and is hosted at the Royal Mint Experience. The evening will include an exclusive behind the scenes tour of The Royal Mint Experience, two panel conversations focussing on para-sport in Trinbago and a wider panel focussing on equity, diversity, and inclusion in sport.

CEO of Team Wales, Rebecca Edwards-Symmons said “ I am extremely excited to launch the Team Wales Business Club. By us addressing important topics and bringing them into relevant conversations utilising the power of sport, with a combination of passionate businesses in Wales is fantastic. Team Wales has over 20 member sports and The Commonwealth Games is the only competition where able-bodied and not able-bodied athletes are part of one team. The pride of Wales is evident, and I can’t wait for our launch event on the 26th September. “

The event will also include some entertainment from Mark Jermin Stage School, fireside chats with Team Wales athletes and the opportunity to network with likeminded people and businesses who share a passion for sport over a bite to eat and drink.

Tickets are still available for this exciting networking event at only £20 and you can secure your place here
