Unpaid carers in Bridgend County Borough have the chance to help shape and influence local support services through a new carer forum.

The forum offers carers the chance to have their say on support locally, help shape the services that matter to them, and meet other unpaid carers. The forum offers a great opportunity for carers to have their voices heard and help local services understand what support carers need.

A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support.

The forum is run by Bridgend Carers Wellbeing, part of the charity TuVida, a service offering practical and emotional support to unpaid carers in the local area. No qualifications or specific skills are needed to attend.

    Refreshments will be provided.

    Thursday 21 September, 11am-1pm

Carers can either attend face-to-face in the Activity Room, Bridgend Life Centre, Angel Street, Bridgend, CF31 4AH or join via Zoom.
