One of the UK’s leading insurance brokers has made three key new appointments as it continues to consolidate its brand reputation in Wales.

Healthcare Consultant Matt Cooper will be focused on employee wellbeing, advising on private medical insurance, cash plans, dental insurance, travel insurance, health assessments and employee assistant programmes.

Matt said: “As one of the major players in the insurance industry, I’ve always been aware of Towergate Insurance Brokers’ excellent reputation. However, I also started to hear positive things about their culture and ambitious growth plans for the business; both of which were a real draw.”

Daniel, who has worked for the business for a number of years but has recently taken on a new role as Business Protection Specialist, said: “I really value Towergate Insurance Brokers for its local connections. Whilst I cover the whole of the UK, we work with regional offices to ensure a consistent approach.

“In the future I hope to be able to connect with more local business, raise awareness of the need for business protection solutions and provide value adding support. More and more businesses are recognising the need and benefits of our advice, and with our continued success in the area of business protection I hope to grow and develop others within the team.”

Group Risk Consultant John provides consultancy services to clients specialising in group income protection and life assurance.

John said: “This will be a varied and challenging role for me and the expertise and range of services that Towergate Insurance Brokers offers clients is a very exciting prospect.

“It is my ambition to help expand, and be part of, the company’s growing Health & Protection Team by providing value and excellent service to our existing and potential clients.”

Gary Stevens, Area Managing Director Wales, said:

“We put customer experience at the heart of everything we do here and I’m confident that Matt, Daniel and John share this ethos with us. I’m looking forward to working alongside the three of them as we build our customer offering here in Wales.”
