Nominations have opened for the 2026 Sport Pembrokeshire Awards as the annual celebration marks its 20th anniversary.
The awards will return to Folly Farm on Friday, November 27, bringing together Pembrokeshire’s sporting community to recognise achievement, dedication and inspiration both on and off the field.
Residents can now nominate the athletes, teams, coaches and volunteers who have made a difference during the past year.
The categories recognise individual and team achievements alongside the work of coaches, organisers and volunteers who support community sport throughout Pembrokeshire.
Cllr Rhys Sinnett, Cabinet Member for Residents’ Services, said: “The Sport Pembrokeshire Awards reaching their 20th anniversary is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the strength of sport across our county.
“For two decades, these awards have celebrated excellence at every level, from young athletes taking their first steps in sport to individuals who have dedicated years of service to their clubs and communities.
“We look forward to another memorable evening at Folly Farm and hope to see another record number of nominations as we recognise the incredible sporting talent and commitment that exists across Pembrokeshire.”

Nominations can be submitted across the following categories:
- Coach of the Year
- Female Sporting Achievement
- Male Sporting Achievement
- Boys (U16) Sporting Achievement
- Girls (U16) Sporting Achievement
- Disability Sport Award
- Junior (U16) Disability Sport Award
- Unsung Hero
- Club Organiser of the Year
- Team Achievement of the Year
- Junior (U16) Team Achievement of the Year
- Young Volunteer of the Year
- Club of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement
A Schools Award will also be announced during the ceremony. It will recognise a local school that works particularly hard to make sport and physical activity fun, inclusive and innovative while building strong links with its community.
The 2026 awards are supported by sponsors Valero, Pure West Radio and Folly Farm.
Nominations will remain open until Sunday, October 11, and can be submitted online through the Pembrokeshire County Council website.
