Savills, on behalf of OCS Group Limited, has sold the freehold of Caxton House in Pentwyn, Cardiff and secured two new local premises for the international facilities management company to relocate into.

Caxton House, comprising 26,382 sq ft (2,451 sq m) of office and warehouse space, with a separate warehouse and parking for 45 cars on a 2.45 acre site, has been bought from OCS by Flintec Ltd a who manufacture high quality, precision weight measurement. The property is located in Caxton Place, off Pentwyn Road, where companies such as MWH, Comtec and Office Visions occupy nearby office buildings, and a new Lidl store opened last year alongside a pre-existing Waitrose store.

As a result of the sale of Caxton House OCS has relocated its business into premises at nearby Abacus House in Caxton Place, with additional warehouse space taken at Unit 7, Swift Business Centre, Cardiff.

Gary Carver, director in Savills office agency team in Cardiff, says: “Caxton Place is a conveniently located business location, with good amenities and transport links, but unfortunately the space at Caxton House no longer met OCS’s needs. As well as being able to complete on the sale to Flintec within a short space of time we were also able to quickly identify two properties that met their brief.”
