Two Penarth neighbours have kicked off their weekend in style after they each netted a £30,000 cash prize with People’s Postcode Lottery.

The cash windfall follows their postcode, CF64 2TH, being announced as a winner with the lottery on Saturday 18th September.

The neighbours chose to remain anonymous and People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her congratulations to the winners, she said: “What a lovely surprise for our Penarth winners today, I hope they’re thrilled right now. I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending their winnings and I think they might be celebrating tonight!”

People’s Postcode Lottery costs £10 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.

A minimum of 33% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have helped raise over £750 million to date for thousands of good causes across Britain and internationally.

This draw was promoted on behalf of Postcode Justice Trust which supports organisations working to improve lives by delivering justice, human rights and equality through regular grant funding. Supported charities include Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and Global Witness.
