    Police appeal for witnesses following serious road traffic collision in Swansea

    South Wales Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury Road Traffic Collision that occurred at approximately 21:47 hours on Thursday 7th February 2019 at Clase Road, Morriston Cross, Swansea.

    A grey coloured Ford Focus motor vehicle was in collision with a pedestrian. The female pedestrian was conveyed to Morriston hospital with head injuries. The carriageway was closed for approximately three hours while Police carried out initial investigations and recovered the vehicle. South Wales Police would like to thank the people affected by the closure for their patience and understanding.

    South Wales Police would like to speak with any witnesses to the collision, any drivers with dashcam footage, or anyone who may have witnessed either the pedestrian or the manner of driving of the Ford Focus prior to the collision.
