Police are appealing for help to locate a US national who has not been seen since November 2025.

South Wales Police are trying to trace 59 year old Tana Garner, who is believed to be in the Cardiff area.

Tana is described as being in possession of a suitcase tied with rope and is known to frequent Cardiff city centre. Officers believe she may have been living homeless for a period of time.

She speaks with a broad American accent and enquiries suggest she may have travelled elsewhere in the UK, potentially to the Windsor area.

Police have confirmed that Tana has not left the UK since arriving back in June 2025.

Officers are urging Tana to get in touch to confirm that she is safe and well.

Anyone who has seen Tana or has information that could help locate her is asked to contact South Wales Police.

Please call 101 and quote reference number 2600002657.

Information can also be provided online via the South Wales Police website. Alternatively, people can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Always call 999 in an emergency.
