    Police respond to incident in the Townhill area of Swansea

    South Wales Police Officers have been dealing with an incident in the Geiriol Road, Townhill area of Swansea.

    A call to was made to South Wales Police at 16:21 hours on Tuesday 12 February 2019  by a man who was threatening to harm himself.

    Following lengthy negotiations officers gained entry to the address and detained the man for his safety.

    Residents who as a precaution were temporarily displaced from neighbouring houses have since returned.

    South Wales police would like to thank them for the understanding they have shown during the incident.
